A woddintr of considerable local interest was solemnised this afternoon, at Holy Trinity Church, when Miss Nellie! McCmlie, daughter of the late. Colonel ' Matthew M,oCredie was married to , Mr. John Edwnrd Jenkinson, of Oriental Bay, Wellington. The bride, .who was attended by Miss Ruth Mountford, was' attired m a dress of lavender satin ! charmeuse with an over-dress of lavender \ •georgette embroidered m silvec tissue, with touches of pastel pink and primrose; j She wore a large . picture leghorn hat wreathed m heliotrope with heliotrope velvet streamers. The bridesmaid wore a becoming dress of rose-pink- satin charmeuse with -georgette trimmings, with touches .of beads, and blue rose on the corsage.,. Her hat was of rose-pink tulle with pink satin streamers and 'blue rosesr The. ceremony at- the. church was- con^ducted by the Rev. H. Packe and thebride was given, away by Mr R. Stone Florance. , Mr E.. N.. Sidebottpra presided at the organ. Dr. H. Hay, of Wellington, was best man. After the marriage ceremony ; a large number of 'the friends 'of the bride and bridegroom were entertained at afternoon tea at v"Te Airanga," by Mr and Mrs A. L. •Muir. Mr and Mrs Jenkinson leave by the. .-.Arahura. . tliis ; eA'ening- ._ for Wanganui and Wellington. At the latter place they will establish their home. ' -
