October 31— Winton acceptances. November s— Taieri acceptances. The Roxburgh programme, issued last week, is in sjme respects altered from last year's. To the Maiden Plato sdovs are a<d«d, making the stake 2030vs ; the Roxburgh Hau<lic«p loses ssove, being now worth 30sovs ; the Maiden Trot and Hack Handicap stand as before ; the President's Handicap is replaced by a Selling Race of lSsovs ; the Flying Handicap stake is raised to 20sovs ; and both open trots are increased— the three-mile race to 25sovs and the two mile-race to 20iovs. Nominations are due on December 7. The Palmerston programme appears in another column. There is £158 to be raced for, spread Over eight events, of which tbe principal are the Cup, a mile and a-quavter ; the District Handicap, bix furlongs ; and the Three-mile Trot. Mr Dowse is handicapper and Mr J. M'Ghie starter. Hr Gwynnc will receive nominations up to November 25.
