The challenge of Demure made him look very dangerous for a few etridas, but Rueil ran on under high pressure, aad getting away again just at the finish, won very cleverly by a length. All doubts were set at rest a quarter of a mile from home, as Mimi Bbook her stable companion off without an effort and won in a canter by fcur lengths. Inside the distance Lady Primrose and Haute Saone closed with Corafcorphine, and , tbe places bung in the balance until a few strides from the chair, when Lord Rosebery's filly got the best of it again and beat Lady Primrose by half a length; a neck between third and fourth.
