THE NEW PARLIAMENT.

The following is a complete list of the members of the newly-elected House of Representative? ; with this exception, that there will have to be one fresh election — most probably for the Mount Herbert district, Canterbury, Mr W. S. Moorhouse having, subsequent to his election for that district, been also chosen for Westland.

Of the 70 members, 35 were not in the last House ; and thtir number will no doubt be increased to 36, when the Mount Herbert seat has been filled. It must not, however, be assumed that 35 of those who sat in the last House have ceased to be members ; for the total number ha 3 been increased by 13, consequent upon the provision*! of the liepresentation Amendment Ordinance of last session.
