Prussian command, now part of the Reich Army, says a message from the Free City. Militarisation continues, and 'Army detachments! and anti-tank guns are parading the streets. The W : school holidays have been prolonged, as the buildings are being used as barracks. The Senate '-has issued a decree depriving Jews of the power to administei business investments or - land in continuation of the policy of Arvanisntioii •' as a prelude t.o the return to the Reich. The Senate has purchased and demolished the central synagogue and Jewisb'cenie tries and properties. There are at present 4000 Jews in the city, the majority of whom are trying to leave. j. All Jews have been ordered to leave Austria after July. The Polish 'Commissioner in Danzig, M. Chodacki, again sent a Note to the Senate demanding the punishment oi / tho Nazis involved in last week's frontier shooting.,. It is reported, says an Independent Gable Service message, that 10 Polish students, who crossed the Danzig border while hiking, were sentenced tc a month's imprisonment. A German naval mission is on board a battleship. The Italo-German alliance includes naval 'collaboration in wartime. , The Daily Telegraph's Angora correspondent says that British experts will proceed to Alexandretta, the Turkish Mediterranean naval base, shortly to modernise the harbour and create, also, ,/ an aerial base.; Turkish troops have now occupied The Hatay. the area restored by France, which' includes Alexandretta, amid national rejoicings. French troops saluted the Turkish flag and left for Aleppo. ; - TRADE OF GERMANY FACING SERIOUS TASK SOME IMPROVEMENTS NOTED (Received July 2S, 11.50 p.m.) BERLIN. July 28 The quarterly analysis of the German Institute of Business Research states that foreign trade is facing a serious task because of increasing competition and boycotts. "Nevertheless*, it is not true that the nation's industry has reached production limit." states the analysis. "In spite of difficulties there has been a notable improvement in trade with Uumania and with South Africa. Manchukuo has agreed to import £10,000,000 worth of German merchandise next year.'/
