MINISTERS' MOVEMENTS.
The Hon. A. D. McLeod, Minister of Lands, will leave Wellington on February 2 for the North, attending the Feikling show eu route, and will be in the North Auckland Peninsula from . February 4 to February 13, looking into the kauri gum question,, swamp drainage and tenure and other development matters. On his return to Auckland he will confer with representatives of the kauri gum trade, and probably return to Wellington on February, 16. Sir Maui Pcanare will leave Wellington to-morrow to open a native school at Makomako, near Kawhia, and will return on' Tuesday. : -
