Captain Anderson of the Storstad has expressed the opinion that Lord Mersey is a fool for holding him responsible for the collision with the Empress of Ireland. Any reputation Lord Mersey had he was sure to los 3 through such a decision. Lord Mersey, he added, really favoured the Canadian Pacific Company throughoutCaptain Anderson announced his intention of starting a suit r.gainst the Canadian Pacific Company on behalf of the Storstad's owners, and also to begin a suit in the British Admiralty Courts. He has promised much litigation before things are settled between him and the Canadian Pacific Company. As the result of the judgnijul Captain Kendall remains in th-..: employ of the company.
