CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 17. The poll for the election of a Parliamentary representative of Lyttelton constituency was taken yesterday, and resulted in the return of Mr McCombs. McCombs (Labour) .... 2628 Miller (Government) .... 2402 At the first ballot last week the polling was as follows:—McCombs 2075, Miller 1560, Laurenson 922, Thacker 273, Radcliffe 112.
