SURPRISE FOR A PICKPOCKET.
A pickpocket had an unpleasant surprise in Paris when he opened a reticule which he had snatched from a lady. He pulled out a pair of hand--cuffs, and at the, same time a heavy hand was laid on his collar, and. he ■was arrested. The- reticule was the property of the wife of a detective. ;She had been acting as a decoy for her husband.\
