NELSON ORGANISATIONS

O.C. NELSON, July 1. Under the will of Mrs. D. L. Moller, who died yesterday, bequests have been made to a number of Nelson institutions, and her ■ home is left for the benefit of disabled servicemen of this war. In addition, on the death of Mrs. Moller bequests totalling £3350 made by her late husband, Mr. B. H. Moller, become available to a large number of Nelson organisations, including sports clubs. .■■-• Mrs. Moller's bequests are: New Zealand Crippled Children Society, £200; New Zealand Institute for the Blind, £200; trustees of Ranzau Lutheran Church, £200; Society 'for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Nelson branch, £50; Nelson Boy Scouts Association, £50; Nelson Girl Guides Association, £50. Mrs. Moller has left her house and property' (value about £2000) for the benefit of sick, wounded, and crippled soldiers and members of the R.N.Z.A.F. of the present war residing in Nelson. She made many donations to local organisations during her lifetime, and one gift which will stand as a lasting memorial to her generosity is the illuminated Moller Fountain which she presented to the city in 1939. Although Mr. and Mrs. Moller had no children of their own, they always displayed a keen interest in the young people of the city, and there is hardly a sporting body in Nelson which does not have a Moller Cup for annual competition. - Under the will of Mr. Moller the following organisations will each benefit to the extent of £200: Presbyterian Church, All Saints' Church, Methodist . Church, Baptist . Church, Whakarewa Orphanage, St. Mary's Orphanage, St. Andrew's Orphanage, New Zealand Cancer Fund, Nelson Fire Brigade, Regimental Band, Nelson Rose Croix Chapter, and Trafalgar Royal Arch Chapter, Bequests of £100 each were made to: Nelson Football Club, Athletic Cricket Club, V.M.C.A; Cricket Club, Nelson Rugby Union, inmates of the Renvvick Cottages, Nelson Lodge, Juvenile Oddfellows, Nelson Horticultural Society Tw<y hundred and fifty shares in A. a , ,Gre, en>s Investment Company, Auckland, were left to the Jubilee Institute for the Blind.
