REPLY TO DANZIG SENATE

LONDON, August 4,
The Danzig correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph" states that the Polish Government, replying to the Senate's demand for fewer Polish Customs officers, urges respect for treaties, and adds that the rights of the inspectors must be preserved.
Warsaw reports that Marshal SmiglyRydz is to make an important speech on August 6, which will be broadcast throughout Poland.
