In an article in the "Volkischer Beobachter," the Nazi leader in Danzig, Herr Forstcr, says: ''We have an unsljakeable belief tha£ Herr Hitler will lead 40,000 Danzigers back to the Reich.
"Poland should recognise that our internal preparations, without the drafting in of German soldiers, doom to failure any surprise against German Danzig.' 5
