It is stated in Berlin that the return of Danzig to \the Reich will now head Herr Hitler's list of demands. ! The Nazi Press has begun a violent campaign agaffnst / Poland reminiscent of those against Czecho-Slovakia ipid Austria. It is reported that Germany demanded a lane \ 15/ miles wide through the corridor to Danzig1. The "Gazeta Polska," the Polish Government's official organ, declares that the German attitude creates a situation Avhich forces Poland to go further in her demands concerning the status of Danzig than when she concludied the Jmcfwifch' Germany in 1934. : The demands are not specifically stated, but the Warsajw correspondent. of "The' Times" says that there is reason i|o' believe that they include the transference of -the League portimissioner's functions to the Polish Government. POLISH DEFENCE MEASURES. At a conference in Warsaw today between (President Moscicka,) Colonel Beck, Polish Foreign Minister,' and the Prime Minister, M. The "Boersenzeitung" (Berlin) says that Danzig is not Avorth' ; the bones of any English soldier. "Mr. Chamberlain will not find any Britons who think that the return of Danzig is an attempt at { world domination," the paper adds. . ' .. f
