JEWS IN DANZIG
COMPLETE EVACUATION BY END OF MONTH
(Received January 3, 2.10 p.m.) WARSAW, January 2. Under the new laws practically all Jewish shops and business houses in Danzig were closed today. Jewish leaders were warned that pogroms must be expected unless a thousand Jews leave the city this month.
It is understood that the Nazi authorities intend that the whole Jew* ish population of 5000 shall be banisl> ed before the end of March.
