FIRE AT POINT HOWARD

An unoccupiod shack was destroyed in the course of a gorse and bush, fire at Point Howard today. The firebroke out this morning, and quickly, spread, and burnt much gorse on Point Ht^aVd, and this afternoon was in "Mid birch forest reserve. . Several houses on Point Howard were in danger, th« fire bring stopped just in time in their vicinity. Details were not available this afternoon as to who was the owner o£ the shack that was destroyed, nor the insurances. Residents on Point Howard this afternoon stated that the brigade looked like getting tho blaze in hand.
