FORESTRY CONFERENCE
ANNUAL GATHERING OF EXPERTS. The third annual conference of the executive officers of the State Forest Service, lasting three days, is now in progress. Tho Commissioner of State Forests (the Hon. 0. J. Hawken) opened the proceedings yesterday, as already reported in "Tho Post."
Papers on forest fire protection and control of wild life, deer, opossums, pigs, etc., control of tree diseases, and insect pests were then read and thoroughly discussed by the officers present.
