Hand work plays an important role in millinery for all occasions. • Fabrics such as Tulle, Crepe, Lace, Satin, and Velour Cloth are used in conjunction with Straw for the foundation, or as trim..mings. Fashion favours Pedal as the leading Straw Hat, while Leghorn, Tuscan, and Liserie follow very closely. Colourings as shown are more artistic than ever. Hat-shapes vary from the high-crowned Cloche to the mediumbrmmed hat with low Tarn crown, and from the new irregular- r brimmed hat to the wide-brimmed soft outlined Portrait Hat.
