Gubbins's br ' c Ard Patrick, by St. Fiorian— Morganctte, 3yrs, 9st 51b 5 The winner of this valuable prize has run well this seaton in Bust-class company, but has so far had fortune against him. He was second in the Derby to Ard Patrick, second in the Sandown Eclipse Stakes to the Duke of Devonshire's Cheers, and filled' the same position in the Doncasler,St. Leger, won by Sceptre. By* winning this substantial fctake he proves himself a sound and consistent performer. The penalty incurred b" Ard Patrick for winning the Derby probably prevented his getting nearer than third in/ this event.
