We are indebted to Mr. Lndder, engineei, and Captain Fairchild, for a copy of a Wanganui Times extra, which contains the following :—: — The colony will grieve to hear that Yon Tempsky is dead, but he nobly fell in battle ; the brave Captain Buck and his equally bravo fellow officers, Captain Palmer, Lieut. Most of our officers and men were killed by Hau Haus pexdied in the tops of trees.
