THREE REGIMENTS.
Guns From Czechoslovakia Landed By Night.
BRITAIN READY TO ACT. United Press Association.—Copyright. (Received 2 p.m.) LOXDOX. July 31. "The Times" "Warsaw correspondent reports that the Danzig- "police force" now consists of 4000 men, organised into three regiments. Between two and three batteries of field artillery, six anti-aircraft batteries and :W anti-tank puns, mostly from Czechoslovakia, were landed in Danzig by niprht.
The roads from Kast Prussia have been widened and repaired, while the road to Poland lias been obstructed, the barriers including tank traps.
"The Times." in a leading; article, says that if Danzij.' is not an immediate danger spot, it is because the Government has made the British position most clear.
If any attempt is made to solve the problem by force it will be resisted. Britain possesses both the force and the resolution to resist. Britain is ready for anything, knows that an emergency would require net ion. unci, if an emergency comes, will act swiftlv.
