ACCESS TO BALTIC.

POLISH DEMONSTRATIONS

LONDON*, .Tune 2ft. Poland, says a message from Warsaw. is celebrating a "Hay of the Sea" throughout the country to-day. when demonstrations and speeches will stress the necessity of Polish access to the Baltic. As a climax to Navy Week at the Polish port of (iydnia, 80.000 people, including a delegation from Danzig, demonstrated in Grunwald Square and took a mass oath to maintain Poland's access to the Baltic. The square commemorates the Polish victory over the Teutons. President Moscicki, in a broadcast, said: "Our nation's war-won coast, the Corridor, the air and sun are our existence. We shall preserve our outlet, no matter how great the adversary or how heavy the pressure." Opinion in Warsaw is that a GermanPolish "ii>owdown" is unlikely until late in the summer. Government circles are surprisingly calm and consider the recent German actions in Danzig merely gestures.
