TWO AGEEMENTS.
MILITARY ALLIANCE? Mussolini May Form Entente Against League. DANZIG SETTLEMENT HOPE. United Tress Association.—Copyright. (Received 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, July 13. Austria and Germany have formed a joint committee to operate the new agreement. The "Daily Telegraph" Vienna correspondent reports that Ailstria and Germany reached two agreements, but only one was published, the other being a gentleman's agreement, partly of a military nature. It is not likely to be disclosed. It is asserted in Belgrade that a secret clause forbids the raising of the question of Hapsburg restoration for three years. Members of the Hapsburg family will not officially be recognised in Austria. Warsaw forsees the imminent settlement of the Danzig problem. Meantime, Signor Gayda hints in "Giornale d'ltalia," that Signor Mussolini may announce the formation of a new entente against the League which, however, Signor Gayda asserts must not be regarded as a four-Power bloc, inasmuch as Italy does not seek a division. Signor Mussolini demands that Germany be invited to the Locarno Conference which Italy will attend if this condition is observed and the Mediterranean guarantees withdrawn. It is understood that all units of the British Home Fleet stationed at Gibraltar will sail for home on Friday. Hundred of Nazis have been released in Austria under an amnesty. The total liberations are expected to reach 1000.
