McQUAY LEAVES SYDNEY. SYDNEY, May IS. The former New Zealand soldier, George T. MeQuay, who had been missing for 13 years, and was recently identified at the Callan Park mental hospital, left for Wellington to-day with his mother by the Maunganui. WITH A LIGHTER HEART. McQuay, before embarking 011 the Maunganui, expressed her gratitude to the New Zealand and Australian Governments, Returned Soldiers' Leagues, and the mental hospital officials for their great help and kindness. She was going back to New Zealand with a much lighter heart than when she arrived, because her soldier son, who had not been identified for eleven years, showed much improvement. Two mental hospital attendants are accompanying them.
