HAMILTON, this day.
The Hon. R. F. Bollard, at Rangiriri, listened to deputations asking for trucking yards at Rangiriri and Tuakau. the linking up of the road from Te Kauwhata corner to Rangiriri, the provision of post office and telephone' exchange, improvement of mail services, removal of willows obstructing AA'aikato River and adjoining creeks, repairs to Tuakau bridge, and many other matters. Eater he visited Huntly, where matters of local interest requiring attention were brought to his notice. At Taupiri he was given a hearty welcome by the Progressive League, and he was also accorded a good reception at Ngaruawahia. where matters needing the assistance of the Government were brought to his notice. Yesterday afternoon he opened a ncav school at Te Hutewai, near Te Mata .
