DEATH OF A QUEEN.
"Tk'Tobea," of Raretongft, to hand by the Richmond to-day, says :—" It is with deep regret that we have bo announce the death o( Pa Upoko Takau Ariki of Takitumu (Queen Pa), on Thursday last, the 19th March. The late Ariki succeeded to bhe title on bhe death of her father, Pa Tepou Ariki, who died in 1855, and has ruled hor people with justice and care. Pti'e kusband, Opura, died in 1888.
