F UNERAL OF THE LATE MR. COSTLEY.
The funeral of the late Mr Kdwaid Costley took place this afternoon, the mournful pro. cession leaving Mr Alexander Mackie's residence in Chapel-street at three o'clock. Messrs A. Mackie (senior and junior), D. Heai), S. Jackson, and C. Ureenway were the chief mourners, while the cortege included His Worship the Mayor (J. M. Clark, ■uq ), Mr P. A. Philips, Town Clerk, Councillors Bell, Harper, Philtipp?, Crowther, Waddel, Montague, Boardrnan, Fleming, Burns, and i hompton ; 34 children from the St. Stephen's- Orphanage, Parnell, under tbo charge of Mrs ..Newry, and attended by ■ Messrs Kawlings and Walker, besides a ,number ot private citizens in carriages and on foot. The whole of the arrangements for interment were carried out by Mr .Halyday, i ■ :
