The Otage School of Mines
Question ol Removal Bj Tolsgrapb.—Presi Aaaociation, Dunedin, this day. A IAROE meeting, representative of nil classes, was held last night to protest againit tho removal of tho School of Mines. Telegrams of sympathy were received in numbers, and resolutions were carried emphatically objecting to the closing of iho school, which would bo a gross injustice to the graduates, and asking tho Government rather to incroaso th subsidy.
