ANOTHER LICENSING TROUBLE.
Wellington, June 5,
At the Cook Licensing Committee today, a counsel for au applicant requested the Bench to remove three convictions which were endorsed in bis license. The Bench, although the Inspector of Polic c aud Clerk of the Court stated it was their belief that the license was wrongfully endowed, refused to take the responsibility of removing them by granting a license for 12 months. It is understood a mandamus will be applied for in the Supreme Court, to compel the Bench to remove the endorsement.
