_ . CHRISTCHUROH, April 15. Vyilliami Diamoni, medical: practition.er, Avho was concerned in th© motor car accident at Aldington on the night of February 22nd, when Sydniey"Raymond Merntt received fatal injuries, was charged before. Mr. V.; G. Day, S.M.: at the Police Court this afternoon with causing the death of Merritt by his negligent an,d improper driving, and thereby committing the crime of manslaujghter. The accused was committed tor trial, bail of £250 b&ing allowed.
