Those indicted include Schmitz, former Mayor of San Francisco, Ruef, Patrick, Calhoun, John Calhoun (president of the United Railways of San Francisco), ffohn Ford, "William Abbott (the company's lawyer), Glass (president of the Pacific States Telephones), and Halsey (former agent of the Telephone Company). Bail of £2000 on each indictgnent was allowed.
