THE WEATHER.
A very sudden- changrf took place in the weather at Lyttelton to-day. The morning, was beautifully fine, but at noon the sky became overcast, and at a quarter past twelve o'clock a heavy hailstorm broke. The hail lasted for only a few minutes, and was followed by rain. Very brilliant lightning -was noticed in the north-wesfc early this morning, and aboufe noon the sky became very overcast and a light shower fell, but the weather cleared again soon after.
