[special 10 the stab.] Sept. 9. The Caversham election today is causing a great deal of excitement. It is expected that Barron (a Greyite) will bo rotutned with, a largo majority. 'Che Hon. J. Ma?andrew ■will leave for "Wellington at the end of the week. THE DUNEDIN FIRE. The following is a Hat of those whose remains were recovered from the fire, with special details regarding them : — Robert Wilson, aged 59. Sarah Wilson, aged 40. Frederick Wilson, aged 19. Sarah Wilson, aged 8. Lawrence Oliphant Wilson, aged 4. Margaret M'Cartney, aged 19. George Augustus Martin, aged 23. John Taylor, aged about 20. Together with the boilioa of a man unidentified, of the supposed name of Swan, another man and a boy not known. The police are making inquiries, and it is anticipated that
