TURKEY.
DESERTED BY GERMANY. ADVISED TO MAKE PEACE. Received 8.5 p.m., April 15th. PARIS, April 15. A "Temps" telegram from Constantinople states that at a meeting of the Groat Council of War.. General Von der Goltz reported the results of liis visit to Berlin. He promised Turkey a big advance from the German warloan of 300 millions, but regretted that lie, was unable to persuade the German Government to send an Austro-Gcrman army to invade Servia and create a diversion from tho Dardanelles. Germany and Austria, were in such a position that it was absolutely impossiblo for them to divert a single battalion. A violent discussion followed. Enver Bey bitterly reproached Germany for
leaving Turkey to fight the Allies alone, when the capital was menaced. I Talaat Bey said only selfishness pre-, vented Germany from sending troops. ; Addressing General Von der Goltz, General Von Sanders added "If Ger-j many is in such a state it is high time: Turkey, concluded a separate peace.''
