AUSTRALIAN CATHOLIC CONGRESS
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, June 23. His Grace Archbishop Redwood has accepted an invitation from His Eminence Cardinal Moran to preach the opening sermon m connection with the Australasian Catholic Congress m St. Mary's Cathedral, Sydney, early m September. His Grace will be accompanied by the Rev. Father Ainsworth, Dean Carew (of Greymouth), Archdeacon Devoy (of Wellington) and the Rev. Dr Pestre, head of the Marist Brotherhood m New Zealand. The latter will be present at the opening of the congress, and will afterwards leave for Lyons, to attend the General Chapter of 1 the Marist Brothers m that part of France.
