'Hero' sailed this afternoon with 43 passengers.—The * Golden Crown' was sold to-day to George Copping and Hoberfc Stirling Anderson, of Melbourne, for the sum of £10,400. The' Crown' is to be in Melbourne by the 20th of next month. She will leave here during next week.—Exertions are being made to obtain a reprieve for Dyer, on the ground of insanity. A reply is expected from the Government to-night.—An inquest on the fire in WakeSeld-street was held this afternoon, and adjourned. After the adjournment Zemsley, Woodward, and Mailler were arrested on suspicion, Sharcmarket: — Buyers: Caledonian, £510s; City of London, 245; Cure, lis.
