(Router) • OTTAWA, May 20. Mr McGill, head of the Canadian Grain Commission, told a Parliamentary delegation that probably" Canadian wheat would sell this yerir at from *3 to $5 per bushel. Owing to the shortage of supplies in other countries, there would be absolutely no wheat for Europe except from the Argentina and North America. Canadian wheat would undoubtedly reach record prices. He was strongly against llxing prices, and favoured an uncontrolled market. LONDON TALLOW MARKET. The following cablegram has been received by Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Christchurch, from their Ixmdon office, dated May 19, 1920:—Tallow: At the weekly auction 1895 casks were offered ami 1530 sold. Prime beef and mutton were unchanged. We quota good colour, mixed, at 85/6, Inferior descriptions were on the average 2/- higher. The London bouse of Booth and Co. cables that at the sales held on May 19 1893 casks were offered, 154(1 casks being sold. .Better grades were unchanged, inferior grades were slightly higher than at last sales. They quote:—Edible mutton 90/-, edible beef 90/-, good mutton 87/-, good beef 85/9, gooil colour 85/0, no colour 81/(1, gut 77/8. PROPERTY SALE. The New Zealand fanners' Co-operative Association, Ltd., repeat having sold by auction, in their land saleroom, Cashel Street, to-day (Saturday), in conjunction with H. Matson and Co., on account Mr Geo, Barclay, his Little River farming lands. The following are the lots sold:—Lot 1, 151 acres, at £ls 10/- per acre, to Mrs A. Waklin.
