DRAINAGE RATE.
LEVY ON LOCAL BODIES. The Christchureh Drainage Board decided at a special meeting last evening that the following rates be fixed in respect of each of the sub-districts: Sewerage area, J9-:;2d in the £; rural Christchureh, 3-G4d; rural Woolston, 5-32 d; rural New Brighton, 3-64 d; rural Spreydou, §d; rural Avon, \A; rural Heaiheote, 7-64 d; rural Biecarton, Jd. It also decided that the period for which the rate should be struck should be from April 1, 1919, to March 81, 1920.
