SUBSIDIARY HIGH COUST
A conference of delegates of various provincial. foresters' Lodges commenced to-day to deal with a proposal to establish a Subsidiary High Court in connection with Forestry throughout New Zealand. The provincial lodges were represented as follow: —Auckland—Bros. J. SKaldric.lf, 11. G. Barnes, D.S.C.R., R. Barlow, D.S., Geo. Strode, D.C.K.; Tlawke's Bay—Bro. J as. Eedshaw, D.S.; Taranaki —Bro. A.J. Way, D.0.R.; Canterbury l"nit.e<l—-Bros W.'ir. Marks, D.T., and* W. W. Tanner (secretary), P.C.R.; Otago—Bros. R. C. Wilson, J.i'.D.O.R., .las. Macfie, 8.5.; Nelson—Bro. G. 11. Allan, B.IU'.R, (President).
The visitors were welcomed to Christehilrch !>y Bro. W. H. Marks. After the election or! ofiieers for the conference, the conference adjourned until this afternoon, when a commencement was made with the discussion of a proposed constitution for tlio court.
