At 10 o'clock last evening the Fire Brigade received a call to 61 Crescent Road, Sydenham, where, a 12-roonied two-storeyed wooden residence, owned and occupied by Mr Henry Frederick Raymond, Was found to be abla/.Q. The rear of the building was severely damaged before the Brigade got the outbreak under control, and the front por-tion'-'and contents suffered from smoke, the effects also being slightly damaged through the hurried removal. The house was insured for £4OO, but there was nq insurance on the furniture.
