MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
(Before Mr T. A. B. Bailey, S.M.) ' DRINK.
Two male first offenders were each fined 5/-, with the - alternative of 24 hours' imprisonment. Wm. Milne, 58 years of age, charged with a second offence of drunkenness in Lichfield Street, was remanded for a week for medical treatment.
An old man named Eichard Boss, for a second offence of. drunkenness in Oxford Terrace, was convicted "and ordered : to come up for sentence when called upon. THEFT. : Eichard Norman, 35 years of «age, and Edward Clark, 36, were jointly charged with the theft of £8 at- Eiecarton on Wednesday, the money being the property of Joseph Keweley. The accused were remanded for a week, bail being allowed in £75 and dne surety of £75 in each case. IDLE AND DISOEDEELY.
Frederick Courtney, 35 years of age, was deemed to be an idle and disorderly person, having insufficient lawful means' of support. A remand was \ granted for a week on the application of the Chief Detective, who said there were other charges pending. Bail was allowed in £SO and one surety of £SO.
