STORBECK LOSES.
DOYLE WINS ON FOUL. For the first time in several mouths, a contest between heavy-weight boxers was held in the Sydney Stadium on October 31. One of the contestants was ( ' Fred'' Storbeck, the South African, who recently, at the Sydney Sports Ground, won from "Bill" Lang, on a. foul. The other was '' Ben'' Doyle, an Australian who brought himself intoprominence' by winning the heavy-weight section of the'recent £iooo tournament at Newtown Olympia, Sydney, and who subsequently beat Horn, the California!! heavy-weight. ; < In the first few rounds Storbeck hit Doyle almost as he pleased. Then, howover, Doyle fought better, and Storbeck's '' condition'' began to give out. Gradually but surely Doyle wore down the South African. In the * sixteenth round, Doyle knocked Storbeck down twice. Then Storbeck fell twice more, but without being hit, and he was disqualified.
