BOTH LEGS BROKEN.
A PLUCKY (HRL. V Press AssociationWHANGARET, September 24. Miss Minnie Birch, a visitor from England, was admitted.to the hospital to-day with both legs broken. On 1 Sunday she left a friend's place at Whangarei Heads to climb Andrey's Mountain. As she -did not return a search party set out that night and found the missing girl, badly injured. She had fallen over a cliff. Despite her severe injuries, she had bandaged one leg with her handkerchief and crawled over a mile .on. her handsi'- and knees' before the search party found her.
