INVINCIBLE BUILDING SOCIETY.
The annual meeting of the Invincible Building Society was held last night, when the report and balance sheet for the year, which were adopted/showed a very sound position. The balance sheet showed that the shareholders have converted into permanent capital £6400, while the profit and loss account showed a credit lof £ISOO. It was resolved to pay holders of D s J hares a; bonus of 2 per cent., which, with the 4 per cent, interest already paid, makes a total of 6 per cent, for the year. It was also decided to allot 2 per cent to C shareholders who had not given notice of withdrawal. The retiring directors, Messrs H. Pearce and J. S. Williams, were reelected, and Mr H. Labatt was appointed auditor, the directors receiving a hearty vote of thanks for their services during the past year. /
