The following forecast was issued by the Government Meteorologist, Wellington, at 9 to-day for the ensuing 2-4 hours: — The indications are for south-easterly moderate to strong winds and veering by to north, then freshening for an unfavourable change in the weather. Increading haze and cloudiness. The night will probably be very cold. Barometer falling after 24 to 26 hours.
