NORTH ISLAND TEAM. Press Association. WELLINGTON, August 24. The selectors of the North Island hockey team (Messrs E. J. W. Hallett and Alfred A. Bennett), which is to meet the South Island team at Wellington on September 12, have chosen the following eleven: —Goal, R. Dwyer; right fullback, Baker (Auckland); left full-back, Speight (Auckland); right half, Hanley (Wairarapa); centre, McGregor (Wellington); left half,' Connell, Wanganui); forwards, right wing, Atkinson (Hawke's Bay); inside right, Mahoney (Auckland) J centre, G. Strack (Wellington); inside left, Boyd (Wellington); left wing. Loader (Wellington). Emergency full-back, Bottrill (Hawke's Bay).
