GERMANS SLOW ADVANCE.
MORE TALES OF BRUTALITY,
A, slow German advance is reported in the region of Longwy and Briey, on the Luxemburg frontier. The enemy have entrenched themselves before Briey, with support from Metz. It is officially stated that the Germans murdered eleven persons at Badonvillers, including the Mayor's wife, and burned seventy-eight houses, and that they killed live persons at Breinemil, including a man and a woman aged seventy-four.
