ADDINGTON MARKET.

THE CONCLUSION. FAT SHEEP. Twelve races of fat sheep came forward, but the quality was not of the best, the proportion of light sheep being very large. Very few ewes were penned, but the advance of the season was noticeable in the condition of most of the wethers. The sale opened briskly, but dragged when a few races had been disposed of, but brightened up again in the last race or so. As the market for skins is at present very uncertain, this fact was reflected in the prices paid, which were rather below those pi last sale, and were from 4/to 5/- per head below values ruling a month ago. The depreciation of heavy skiu.s has been about these figures. Values, ranged as follow: Prime wethers, 21/- to 26/-". Extra to 35/-. Light and unfinished, 16/10 to 20/-..,. Merino wethers, 13/6 to 17/3. . Hoggets, 15/7; to 17/-. : Prime ewes, 19/- to 23/5. ; Medium ewes, 17/- to 18/6.
