William Forbes, an ex-constable, charged with the theft of £l2O from the Wellington Racing Club, was committed for trial. A'cheque, when endorsed by Commissioner Cullen and A. ' E. Whyte, the was fof £2O, and it is alleged the accused altered it to £l2O.
