CHRISTCHURCH NORTH SEAT. Despite Saturday evening being an awkward time for political meetings, some seventy or eighty of Mr Isitt 'ss friends and supporters met that gentleman at the appointed hour in Knox Church Schoolroom. The proceedings were very enthusiastic. - After a brief address by Mr Isitt, a vote of continued confidence was carried unanimously, and all present pledged themselves to do their utmost to secure the sitting member's return. Mr O. 11. Gilby was elected provisional chairman of Mr Isitt's committee, and arrangements were made for a thorough working of the electorate.
