CHRISTCHTJRCH CLUB BEATS CANTERBURY CLUB. A -battle of Clubs —not, Golf Clubs —took place on Shirley links yesterday, when a team representing the Christchureh Club, of Latimer' Square, defeated i» team from the Canterbury Club, of Cambridge Terrace. Each club lias among its members golfers of some tonnage, and though a few of the games were runaways, the match ,was well contested. Chrrstcliurch Club won by 12 to 9. The best match was R.
